I often complain that law school rankings are not nearly sporting enough. To rectify this, I have came up with a rankings game to keep us busy while the summer rolls on. I call it the Bracket Of Death.
By using numerous polls and an elimination system, we will determine the various tiers of law schools, as well as our own t14, in a more competitive, and therefore better, style than is currently done.
I'll set-up all of the polls and they'll all run for 3 days. In the interest of not completely jamming the forum, I won't post more than 4 polls a day.
When a poll is done, the results will show up and I'll post them somewhere. In the event of a tie, we'll run mini-polls between the tied schools until someone wins.
God willing, this will keep us busy until at least the start of July.
Here's how the game will go:
Round 1:
196 Schools Remain (Everyone that's on the LSAC site)
All schools are randomly assigned to a group of 7 schools. Everyone gets 3 votes. The top 4 schools in each grouping move on, everyone else is gone.
Round 2:
112 Schools
All of the remaining schools get randomly placed into groups of 8. Everyone gets 4 votes and the 6 best schools in each group move on.
Round 3:
84 Schools
Groups of 4. 2 votes each, 2 best schools move on.
Round 4:
42 Schools
Groups of 3. 1 vote each, top school in each group moves on.
Round 5:
14 Schools
Free for all. Everyone gets 6 votes.

Now for 2009!
All of the schools have new information and description sheets.
Does anyone know what the Tuition Guarantee Program is? It's new on there this year. Also, I think I like the new color scheme.
And go Florida State, 9% increase in their bar passage rate over last year.
