Maybe, the more you know, the more you realize you don't know.
The only thing I learned in undergrad :)

Law School Admissions / Re: REJECTED, ETC. TODAY

Rejected at Faulkner today by snail mail.  I guess the LSAT/GPA isn't everything.  I'm hoping it was because it's a religious based institution and my PS didn't mention it.

This board is actually a bit unique with its terminology.  Here, "flame" is more often used to refer to a disingenuous or outright fake post (or poster) designed to get people to respond.
It's not "unique".  It is incorrect.  A bunch of wannabe egghead lawyers don't get to destroy the years of good work put in by Gamers.   :P

Current Law Students / Re: Tactless or Gunner?
« on: January 06, 2009, 01:26:58 PM »

Despite the well-known existence of the law-school gunner, exgratia hass found him(her)self in a unique and enviable situation.

Simply put, exgratia managed to be placed in a class full of people who are ignorant of the law and unable to answer questions. Exgratia is doing the class a selfless favor by taking the horrible duty of answering the Professor's questions himself, because clearly, the rest of the ignorant dolts in the class couldn't fathom the brilliance that is exgratia. Soon they will be erecting statues and singing songs of greatness, extolling the virtues of exgratia!

Oh exgratia,
How great thee are,
I wish I knew the difference between horizontal and vertical privity
And could expound for hours with my ability
Knowing that your helium hands will rise
Oh exgratia, for thee I roll my eyes!
Attention whore much?  Cyber bullying fills your e-peen?

(from Missouri)

I've been to Pennsylvania once.  I didn't find the people there overly friendly in relation to the midwest.  But people are people, I wouldn't worry about it.

Minority and Non-Traditional Law Students / Re: It's so hard

For me, it was a problem just sitting down and doing homework.  So I bought an egg timer and set it for 15 mins.  15 on 15 off until I got comfortable; then I just increased the time.  Until you get comfortable you will have to rely on cramming too.

You can't have enough detail.  And there is no shame in repeating yourself in order to prove/make your point.  Most teachers don't really care what you have to say as long as you can back it up with something resembling reason.

Aren't elected judges politicians as well?

Your link does not provide adequate information in order to draw the conclusion whether or not Blacks or Women have benefited more from AA.  There does not appear to be any information on the percentage increase of Blacks (or I was unable to find it).  It's not that I doubt your premise, I just don't see how you get there with the information you cited.
