It is almost mid April most people are sending in deposits and I am still waiting to hear back.. is this a bad sign?? and is there something I can be doing to be more proactive?? any help would be appreciated!

Yep, I took the Feb LSAT, so I figured it would be awhile for them to get back to me regarding an acceptance. I am hoping that they left a few spots open for the feb test retakers. They are having a minority open house in conjuction with the other law schools located in GA, so I am looking forward to speaking with them directly about my chances. I have pretty much put all of my eggs in the GA state basket, so I am really hoping this comes through.

By the way, do you know if I need to give them a call since my feb scores came in or do I just wait it out from here?

Thanks for the encouraging words!

Thanks for getting back to me, it is good to hear they don't really update the status checker. I can remain a little sane for the time being!

I sent in my app to GSU on 1/16, they received my lsdas report on 1/25. I did take the Feb LSAT so I know they are waiting for that to come in, but when I go to status checker they can't pull up any information for me. Should this be the case even though they have everything but my feb score?

I am also applying to GA state. I had been going back and forth about this as well, wondering if I should do something more narrative or striclty why I want to go to law school.. I am looking to combine both.. starting with a narrative and then ending with how to led me to the decision to apply..

I am just starting to write my personal statements and I have a number of ways that I can go. But wanted to now if it is inappropriate to discuss my encounters with and views on colorism and how it has impacted me? I don't want to discuss a topic the many readers may not understand but I am trying to find one that is out of the box. Any help will be appreciated!
