Did someone at Levin's library really tell you that undergrads can't study there? As a publicly-funded institution, it's open to the public. From the website: " The University of Florida Legal Information Center in Holland Hall is a public facility and is open to the public." <http://www.law.ufl.edu/lic/general/index.shtml>I work in the admissions office. You should call and ask instead of assuming.
I am not Steve Jones. And FCSL is not the only one I got into. I am just very picky about where I want to live and I am willing to spend $20k a year to get out of here. I was accepted to the law school in my state which would be MUCH cheaper but I can't stand to live here anymore, I will kill myself. Going into debt is worth saving my sanity.
As a current Jacksonville resident (only for the last year, fwiw) I'm not sure it's any better than Idaho. FCSL has an unusually high attrition rate (23.7% after the first year, 8.3% after the second). Compare those numbers with UF's (0.5% and 0.5%, respectively) and you'll understand why people aren't very eager to tell you that attending FCSL is a good idea.

My rate dropped. My loan has a variable rate that cannot go above 8.5% I believe.

LOL at Hastings being a safety with your numbers.
