I went to a bunch of places to get a laptop for law school, and this is the one I thought was best for the price - $850.

Any thoughts???

Please PM me if you have the books for the 1st year. I will remove this thread, when I am no longer in search for them.
Thanks.

Law School Rankings / Re: 2009 USNWR Rankings: Predictions

I am insecure about it. I have to say I am a bit uneasy about my decision to go to Cardozo and be in 200K in debt, since it's not a T14 school.

Well, the weather and the fact that NYC is so different from the place I live now.
But, what I'm choosing Cardozo over Albany b/c of location, rankings, job oppurtunites and the other typical reasons.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: New York Law School or Syracuse?
« on: March 21, 2008, 06:54:09 PM »
I was considering NYLS long time ago. I can tell you that I have not heard one positive thing about this school. It's pricey, the job oppurtunities seem quite dismal and it's competing against all the higher ranked schools in NY. I actually went to their ASD reception and I wasn't impressed. The only think they kept talking about is the new building they're contructing!!

I don't know anything about Syracuse.

I just got a full scholarship and few extra to attend this school.
So, tempting!!!

I will look into that. I'm sure everyone thinks I'm coming from a different planet when I ask: What are the pros of getting a Mac? I don't get why it's becoming so popular.
