Amy: Thank you for taking the time to save us all some sanity.
I've had quite an odd admissions cycle. Briefly, leaving out some, I've been admitted to Cardozo (90k)/Brooklyn (97.5k)/Full at St.J and Seton Hall which I withdrew, WLed at UConn and American, Rejected at Fordham/BC/Mason/GW/GTown and as of right now my two favorites are Washington and Lee (45k) and BU (nothing that I know of). I'm from NY and ideally I'd like to end up here. From everything I've read BU has better career prospects for all students but the quality of life at the school isn't nearly as high at W&L and the tuition would be full price. Do I have any ground to try to get something in terms of money out of BU with W&L or will they just laugh? If not, how about getting more out of W&L from the BU acceptance or will they just laugh at the debt I would be getting myself into. I'm still pending at UCLA and W&M but I can't see picking W&M over W&L unless the scholarship is greater which seems very unlikely at this point. If it helps any my statistics are 166/3.8 Above average excurs/work experience.
Thanks in advance!
