What did you do during the summer before you started law school?

Admissions committees are whores for numbers just like we are.  IN MY OPINION, do everything you can in your LOCI to highlight your strong points, i.e. GPA, LSAT, race, state resident, sex.  Showcase it all in one convenient spot.  The cynic in me says that these people do not care how much you want to go to their school or want their program.  They have a job to do; accept the strongest student body in those categories.  Remember, this is just my opinion.

Thank you! Isn't it good to say what you like about the school and why you want to attend and tie that into what you can bring to the student body?

Law School Applications / The ULTIMATE LOCI!
« on: April 19, 2008, 06:04:15 PM »
Okay, I've seen a lot of threads with people asking to review their loci, but I'd like to know what should be said in the letter? What elements are absolutely essential ingredients for a great letter? Should I talk about why I'd like to go to the school? What else? PLEASE HELP!

Thanks!

Yeah. This race needs to be over because we absolutely must have a Dem win in November. Barack should step aside.

Barack should NOT step aside. He has more pledged delegates that Hillary, infact the lead is almost insurmountable. They should continue until a clear winner is chosen. PLEASE.

No, they won't talk to the schools that rejected you. I heard there are some schools that come to CLEO at the end, looking for students to enroll....

Thanks for the info! Do you know which schools have come to CLEO looking for students in the past?

For anyone who is familiar with how CLEO works: If you attend the program, but have not received any acceptances, what happens? Does CLEO talk to the schools that rejected you?
