Any other Pixies fans on this board?
I hope they play Debaser.
If you don't know anything about The Pixies, they are one of the most influential bands on the alternative movement. For instance, Kurt Cobain called himself a Pixies rip-off artist. They really pioneered the soft-to-loud dynamics between verses/choruses that Nirvana made famous.
The Thrills are opening, who are one of the newer bands I've started to get into... so I'm looking forward to their set as well!

If you want to check out a great band you've never heard of, get The Features' new disc Exhibit A on Universal. From Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It's the most fun, infectuous rock music I've heard in a long time, and their sound is very signature.
You owe it to yourself to check them out. I got the CD last night, and just as I expected, it is AMAZING! You should be able to find it at Tower. I payed under 10 bucks for my copy too, because they're new and nobody knows them yet. Best 10 bucks I've ever spent... I've listened to the thing like 4 times today, and I usually can't stand to listen to a CD more than once in one sitting.
Just trying to spread the good word. Check them out now and thank me later once you get hooked. They're like LSD.

Hmmm... yesterday DEATH claimed he killed Cho. Today neither Cho nor DEATH is anywhere to be found. This is worrisome...
Choson, where are you?

I was poking around XOXO, and I found this thread where some people were saying the key to success in law school was to learn how to take law school tests, that it's the best way to get ahead, irregardless of case knowledge and such. While I plan to keep on top of my cases, I was interested in the books/methods they were advocating. Has anyone heard of any of them? One was a book called "Getting to Maybe". It seemed to be the thing mentioned the most, followed by www.LEEWS.com and books by John Delaney (Learning Legal Reasoning and How To Do Your Best On Law School Exams). If anyone knows anything about these books/methods, I'd like to hear it. Since I have a year to kill till law school, I'm thinking about trying to get familiar with law school tests early, so I can go in with a clear advantage over my peers. ZAP

There comes a time in every man's life when he must come face to face with his innermost fears, when he must face his own mortality and stare down the face of death, as the shadows slowly engulf him...
That time is now.
ASK QUESTIONS, MORTALS!!!!

OK, I installed the Omniform add-on for LSACD, and now it's causing my browser to crash, and I never even see the applications... this is getting very annoying! Anyone else have this happen, or have any ideas how to get around it?

OK, so I finally decided it would probably be worth my money to do the LSACD thing because I'm sending out a ridiculous number of applications.
Thing is, I have no idea what my class ranking was. It isn't on my transcripts as processed by LSDAS, and I don't recall it having been on my transcripts when I got my own unofficial copy some time back. Any ideas where I'd get this information? Has anyone else run into this? Am I overlooking something obvious? Help, please!
Thanks for any and all help... I'm just trying to get stuff together this week to send out all my apps hopefully this week or next.
