I'm sorry, but the greatest threat to Japan is tentacles.
While they present a real threat, I have to think that Godzilla is nothing to laugh at.

I would, but preferably one who worked in a different firm/organization.

I go to most of my classes. This one is just really boring. And, as I've learned, even more boring when you try to teach it to yourself. In the middle of the night.
Yes, good luck! I know that feeling, and it sucks. I hope it all turns out ok.

At the time, I'd have picked Harvard over Chicago for two reasons. First, it has much more lay prestige. While that makes little difference in terms of a legal career, it would be helpful if I were to ever switch to a different field, and impressing friends and relatives is always nice. Second, I wanted to be near my significant other and my best friend, both in Boston at the time. I preferred the size and "feel" of Chicago, but that was overcome by the two factors I described. Statistically, everything really important (placement in firms, clerkships, and academia) is a toss-up between the two, so it came down to mostly personal reasons. Of course, since I never got into Harvard, my decision was never really put to the test. In hindsight, Chicago should have been my #1 all along. My significant other moved here, lay prestige isn't that important since I want a legal career, and I really, really love the environment at Chicago.
I guess I meant, what made it higher than all the other schools where you were accepted?

Rejection at Northwestern. I've had an inconsistent cycle, unlike some sort of very consistent bowling ball.
Wow... you didn't really want to go there though, right? I'm sorry about the rejection. Mine should be coming soon When did you go complete? Aren't you in at Chicago?
