Slightly different situation, but I'm living with my friends from UG who will be working 9-5. I did chose not to live with another friend who will be waitressing because the different schedules would drive me nuts. I do most of my studying out of my apartment though, so I think it depends on our learning style. Also, the people I will be living with are respectful and considerate. I don't think it will be a problem.

I didn't expect to get anything and I did, so I am in the same boat. Where else are you considering?

Thanks for the advice. I am not sure where I want to work.. I love it in DC (live there now), so leaving would definitely be a tough decision. My family is from NY though and will be moving to upstate NY soon, so long-term, New York is a possibility. I am interested in BigLaw at least for a while if that helps.

Maybe I missed it, but are scholarships per year or total?

I'm trying to decide between GULC and GWU (and a few others, but they are irrelevant to this DC school comparison). I have 60k to GULC and 90k + 1 yr housing (total 103k) to GW. What should I do? I'm swayed by the larger scholarship amount to GW, but am wondering if the prestige factor for things like clerkships is reason enough to choose GULC (or one of the other T14 schools I'm looking at).
First off, congrats!! Those are amazing opportunities. I think if you are interest in clerkships and things like that though, Georgetown is your better option. You will more than make up the gap in debt would your increased post-grad opportunities in my opinion.
Just got back from visiting Cardozo on Friday and was surprised by how much I liked it. I also got excited about the idea of graduating with no debt, since they offered me a full scholarship. Would I be silly to go there over GW or W&M with $$? Job prospects coming out of GW or WM still outweigh $$$$ right?
