Personal Statement / length of PS for Yale and Boalt?
« on: December 27, 2007, 06:30:30 PM »
it seems yale doesn't really care if you send in the same PS as you did for other schools, but is the fact that it has no specified page limit, and that boalt's 4 page limit, serve as some kind of hint that i should be writing one specifically tailored to each of those schools?

Law School Applications / Official Name on LSAC recommendations?
« on: December 25, 2007, 03:09:35 PM »
One of my recommendations was cosigned by a very distinguished professor but a grad student was the one who wrote it. Should I label my recommendations through LSAC with both names (John Smith and Jane Doe) or just the grad student's name? Just want to make sure the prof's name catches their eye but I don't want to be misleading...

Will sending materials into LSAC/Admissions Offices now or January 1st make a difference?  Or is it all going to be piling up anyway without any order?  Just trying to figure out whether I need to work through Christmas or not...
