General Off-Topic Board / Re: What's Your Personality Type (MEYERS-BRIGGS)
« on: February 08, 2008, 08:21:57 AM »
INFJ.

"Beneath the quiet exterior, INFJs hold deep convictions about the weightier matters of life. Those who are activists -- INFJs gravitate toward such a role -- are there for the cause, not for personal glory or political power.

INFJs are champions of the oppressed and downtrodden. They often are found in the wake of an emergency, rescuing those who are in acute distress. INFJs may fantasize about getting revenge on those who victimize the defenseless. The concept of 'poetic justice' is appealing to the INFJ.

"There's something rotten in Denmark." Accurately suspicious about others' motives, INFJs are not easily led. These are the people that you can rarely fool any of the time. Though affable and sympathetic to most, INFJs are selective about their friends. Such a friendship is a symbiotic bond that transcends mere words.

INFJs have a knack for fluency in language and facility in communication. In addition, nonverbal sensitivity enables the INFJ to know and be known by others intimately.

Writing, counseling, public service and even politics are areas where INFJs frequently find their niche." (http://typelogic.com/infj.html)

Apparently we are psychic, too.

I was going to ask why people don't just delete their account and re-make it...then I discovered that there is no such function (at least not that I can find). I don't know how I feel about that...

I think my favorite Campaign '08 moment so far was the "Ron Paul Presents Giuliani with Reading List" incident. Nothing like educating Mr. 9/11 about foreign policy.

Ron Paul is pretty unimpressive in debates, public appearances, etc.  A la Bill Richardson.

Unimpressive? Are you joking?

As an economic conservative, this is really a dark day for me.  I can't stand Huckabee or McCain.  I will vote for them in the General (only because I agree more with them on a policy-level than Hillary/Obama), but they won't get any of my volunteer time/money/attention/support in 2012 if necessary).

And the way McCain and Huckabee played Romney the last month only made it worse.  There's nothing about either that appeals to me.

What about Ron Paul?  ???

Jeffort, if this is for the private board on the lsatdiscussion.com site, can you add me as well? My username is the same as it is for LSD.

Thanks!!

For matters of both geographical plausibility and personal bias, I say Florida should be the first to go. Stop screwing up elections, damnit!
