Did anyone else have a ritual they fell into for LSATs? I became strangely superstitious, way out of character for me, like a baseball player that refuses to shave/change socks until after the season. Did anyone else develop something like this?
I did the same ritual for 11 weeks of Saturday morning practice tests, and the same on test day (btw it sounds crazy to me now):
Run every morning before work - because being healthy could improve my score.
Run every night so I can tire myself out enough to actually get some sleep
Keep house way more clean than usual - because clutter could negatively impact my score
-Pack survival kit, lay out clothes, turn off cell, bed by 9:30
-Wake up waaaay too early at 5:30am
-Walk dog one time around the block (counter-clockwise)
-hot bath with lavender/chamomile/menthol bath crystals- to open sinuses and relax muscles (Allergies in Austin suck!)
-Drive to my favorite coffee shop for latte and force down a breakfast taco
-Sit in car do practice problem
Wore same outfit for every practice test and on test day which consisted of all my favorite bum-wear which should have been tossed out 5 years ago: grubby sweatpants, worn-thin vintage tee (the kind with the really soft cotton), and my lucky long-sleeved tee for layer. I do think the ritual helped though, will know more when I get my score but it was calming - I guess I probably have mild ocd...
--When my sister came to visit the weekend of the test she said: You look skinny! So interesting side effect of the LSAT - I lost weight and organized my entire house including closets. Now it's back to cheeseburgers and couch surfing and piles of laundry.
