Besides the Harvard binder with it's way cool stickers, what other swag has anyone heard we can expect from other schools in acceptance packages?

Well, I don't see this thread anywhere so thought I would start one. Is anyone else getting just as ocd about the LOR processing as they did over the LSAT score posting? Here's a thread to pass the time and hopefully limit your LSAc log-ins to eleventy billion a day. I'll go first:

LSAC and LSDAS / Send Note re. LORs« on: November 20, 2007, 01:46:53 PM »
I am sending all my applications that require LORs because I know they won't consider my file complete until they have the letters, so I figured I'd get the red tape out of the way and get everything that I can submit in ASAP.
My question is, should I send a note hand-written on nice stationery or just an email to let my schools know that letters are coming (probably within 2-3 weeks depending on LSDAS)? 15

Why do they put resume categories into the application?? Since they put the resume categories into the app does that mean that they really don't look at the resume much?

Any forum vets out there have any advice about how to work the forums? Can these actually be used to make an impression that improves your odds at admissions?
Should I bring resumes? How much time is there for small talk with the school reps? Or will it be so crowded I just grab the brochure and run? |
