Studying for the LSAT / Re: Does this warrant a complaint to LSAC?
« on: October 02, 2007, 01:23:05 PM »
I took the LSAT last Saturday at a University. For some reason, inside the building their cheerleading team was practicing. At one point during the test, the cheerleading team started screaming and cheering really loud for about 5 seconds straight. They didn't make a sound after that but it really annoyed me and it caused me to lose my concentration for a little bit. Would LSAC take that complaint seriously or would they just laugh it off?

Were they cheering for you or against you?  Presumably relevant.

I'm sure it was against me. I felt like everybody was against me that day. I even felt like the guy at the check in table was secretly hoping I'd fail. He forgot to tell me the classroom number to go to and I had to go back and ask him.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: General Sept. Scale Speculation (+ POLL!)

If there are answers to anything, I am not looking at them until I get my score. Looking at answers, especially on a Wiki page, will make me worry even more than I am now. Like someone else said, these answers could be unreliable, so I don't completely trust them.

Thanks, both of you.

How does the LSAC determine what scale to make for the test? What is their process?

I wouldn't call this a disaster necessarily, although it could potentially hurt my score. On two sections I completely forgot to guess on the remaining questions. I felt like such an idiot. On those two sections, I got up to the last three questions and for some reason when time was called, I just forgot to guess. I've been kicking myself for that since the test was over and I realized it.

Anyone know what the greatest scale was in LSAT history? Greater than -12?

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Why do we cancel?
« on: October 02, 2007, 10:14:27 AM »
does anyone know what the UT-Austin does? I took the sept. test and feel like i did in the low 160's...i know that wont get me in, so should I cancel and take it again in December or wait for my score and just take a chance of them averaging my Dec. score with this test score? any help is greatly appreciated...

You should really find out their policy first. If they take the higher score, then there is really no need to cancel your first score.

Studying for the LSAT / How many questions....?

I searched through the forum really quick and couldn't find a thread about it? How many questions were on the Sept. 07 test? Was it 101 or 100?
