Transferring / Re: Ultimate Thread for Those Applying GULC (EA)!!

Im complete but I just realized my LSAC report didn't have my full college grades on it because I used the same report I used when I applied to schools at the start of last year.  Do you think this will be a big deal?

Hi all,

Is it worth it to transfer when you are close to the top of your class at a t1 or t2?

1L job search / Good grades/what to do
« on: February 12, 2009, 06:29:23 PM »
Am I a fool if I take a non-paying job this summer or should I be using decent grades to my advantage, work my connections and try to get biglaw or at least a small to mid SA gig.  Or is it too hard with the economy now.  Thanks for the advice!

Lampshade--I read that part, I was just wondering if you ONLY tried Leews or if you tried a Delaney book or GTM.  Thanks again for your imput.

26
Did you just try LEEWS or did you read any of the other 2?

Also I have read through almost all of the threads about LEEWS, but I haven't seen many posts comparing these 3.  Thanks!

Hi Guys,
I am very overwhelmed by the debate of whether or not to prep.  But I have definitely decided to read an exam prep book just for an idea of what is expected.  Obviously PLS says to do LEEWS and read Delaney's exam book.  But of these two and getting to maybe, is there just ONE that would be sufficient to read for a 0L?  If so, which one?  and if I should read more than 1, which 2?  thanks for the advice!!

Where should I go next fall? / Part-time programs
« on: January 06, 2008, 04:11:59 PM »
Im sure this is a common question but I have yet to find a clear answer.....Is going part time for a year going to hurt chances when applying to summer associate positions or writing on law review.  I know the class ranking system is different so how do employers look at that, even if it is just for a year.....Thanks for the advice..
