I know the frustration! I applied at Case in early fall and I too keep seeing all these acceptances from people who applied much later without any word for me. Maybe that is bad news... I have receive nothing but acceptances yet, so maybe it is time for one. My stats are 159/3.8. I've been accepted at schools ranked higher that Case, but maybe there is no rhyme or reason

I'm in at St. Louis with $39,000. Looks like I might be there in the fall. I am going to visit in a few weeks.

Stetson made it sound like they would not make any decisions until after at least January. I know how you feel! I thought appyling early would be beneficial, but I think it might be stressing me out more by making the wait longer.

On four of my applications I was listed as the "Vide" President of an organization. I agonized over it for a while, but was accepted at the University of Pittsburgh last week. I guess they either did not notice or it wasn't a big deal. Maybe if you do not make a big deal, neither will they.

I yelled out a really loud YESSSSSS when I received the e-mail that my long awaited letter had been processed. Everyone in the library stared at me, they could never know how happy I was. Keep believing the LSAC hamsters in wheels will get yours done too. It was about 3 weeks for me.

Every Jan. there are classes that take three week trips to various destinations. Vietnam, South Africa, Cuba. They are expensive, but well worth the price. We had to get special permission to travel to Cuba and it was an entriely educational trip. We did do a few nights of partying. All inclusive hotels on a Cuban beach cannot be left undiscovered!

Thanks freshstart. I am very interested in Stetson. I will be curious to see how you like the school. Even a little scholarship money might make a difference. I am getting ready to move to Kentucky and will be applying to UK where tuition is around $9000 instate. That is hard to beat if I am accepted to UK.

Stetson does seem to be generous with scholarships. For those of you who have received scholarships or are familiar with admissions at Stetson, what are they primarily looking for when giving out scholarships? Are they primarily looking at GPA and LSAT score? I guess I am trying to discover whether it is possible to get a decent scholarship from them. I have seen people with stats similar to mine get partial or full scholarships. Is it the numbers or something extra?
