Transferring / Anyone applied for transfer to Tennessee?« on: July 13, 2006, 09:53:54 AM »I am anxious waiting for a response from UT. I am really hoping to be able to move closer to home. Has anyone heard anything from them? Obviously law school performance is key, but is there anything particular anyone knows about what UT looks for in a transfer? Residency, etc? 2

Did you end up applying to Brandeis? I too would like to transfer there. I only submitted my application about a month ago. Were you ever able to determine the most important factors they look at for a transfer applicant? Thanks! 3

Those two schools were my last two choices. It was a really hard decision because SLU has the top rated healthcare law program. I chose Stetson because they gave me a full ride. I hope I made the right decision...Apparently Stetson has a good rep. in FLA.

I have decided to head to Stetson in the fall. It was a hard decision, but I am glad to hear good things. I am not happy to hear about the lack of decent, availible men. I have just been waiting to get out of East Tennessee. I thought it was just the guys here
 Maka Nani thanks for mentioning about the Tampa Bay Sports Club. I was thinking about getting back into soccer too if i could find a league.

I got a full scholarship and $1000 stipend with a 3.83 and 159.

I am considering taking a full scholarship at Stetson. I am also still seriously considering St. Louis because I know I want to do Health Law and they have offered half tuition. I know many people would say forget them both and go to the best school, which would be Univ. of Maryland for me. I am still pretty partial to the scholarship money, especially full. I know this doesn't seem like the wise decision to some. There are other factors to consider other that the money. I was just wondering whether anyone else was seriously considering accepting a full scholarship at a lower ranked school or was in a similar position.

Same deal here. I applied in October. My numbers are not as high as some of you, but I would still have expected to hear by now!!!! My decision depends on what I hear from Case.

Oh where oh where could it be??? I have noticed on law school numbers that rejections and waitlists are increasing steadily by the day...and the numbers are high! With my little 159 I am anxious to get the bad news. Or maybe there is some other wonderful redeeming quality about me...hmmm.
