« on: October 16, 2007, 07:50:11 AM »
I've heard this is not the case. They date the LSAC gives is the deadline that they have to get scores back but we will actually get them Friday, December 21st (just in time to ruin christmas). Just what I heard.

Studying for the LSAT / Logic game bible or keep on with Kaplan?
« on: October 10, 2007, 01:29:52 PM »
I'm taking the December 1st exam. I took a kaplan extreme class 3 days a week. I also did 5 hours of tutoring with a kaplan instructor on just logic games. I'm still not performing where I'd like to be. Everyone on here seems to rave about the powerscore bibles. Should I get the logic game bible and focus on that for the next month or so? or will it screw me up more to switch now?

Any advice??

« on: October 09, 2007, 07:21:03 AM »
so I've calculated my index at schools that I'm interested in. But is a favorable index the same across the board? Or is a 12 good at one school but bad at another? help. I'm trying to find out my chances...

Law School Admissions / mention my own business
« on: October 01, 2007, 03:31:01 PM »
I am planning on applying as soon as I take the December LSAT. My GPA is rough (2.96) and am looking at mid to high 160s, judging my practice tests. I was heavily involved on campus and worked only my junior year.

Question: I had/have a side business in ebay that I used to finance my education. Do I mention this? If so, where? I am proud of its success but am not sure where this fits in. also, is taxation on this income an issue??

Law School Admissions / Re: Maybe I'm an idiot but I need transcript help
« on: October 01, 2007, 02:01:23 PM »
I just did this today. Log into LSAC. Go to My Docs, then Forms, then go to Transcript request form. It should be blue and you click on it to get the form. You had to have already entered your UG info for this to populate.

Print out the form, sign it and send it to your UG institution. I faxed it to my school, paid $30 for overnight to LSAC.

Don't forget to request a transcript for every school you've attended. i.e. study abroad, etc.
