Law School Applications / Re: Doesn't anyone get rejected anymore...

how the hell is that even possible to get a 180, also, I was looking at another post, and this one guy or girl, said s/he(probably a guy, women are smarter as it is scientifically proven by that one guy) got a 139. How can someone get a 139 on one extreme and a 180 on other? These are the questions that run through my mind...

This discussion board is so damn distorted. From reading the posts and seeing everyones numbers, you all make it look so easy. I've read like a billion post with peeps that have a 4.9 and a 180,and if it's not those numbers, it's pretty damn close. I guess I'm just bitter that I'm barely holding on to a 3.6 gpa and a 170 seems like a fantasy, albeit one I shall accomplish or at least feel pressured to accomplish.

All i'm saying is: damn you overachievers with your 3.9, 179, and acceptance letters to the top schools. What about the "average Joana"...can't she get into those schools as well.

I'm sure the real motive for my anger is finals week and the billions of paper I have to write...or perhaps I'm just a bona-fide hater'

Law School Applications / Is the law school forum helpful?
« on: December 02, 2007, 05:48:53 PM »
I'm a 4th yr at UCI and I am kindof considering law school. I was on the LSAC website, and they had something about law school forums...for anyone who knows about this, is it important and/or helpful to attend this forum or will I be wasting my time driving up to LAX for a forum?

if you think socio economics and race are not linked/ related, you are a true fool.People of color, more so than not, are in the lower class (everyone knows this)

Anyways, race was not the bases of my post, I was asking about other non-number factor. But the more I read these postings, the more I realize that none of you, perhaps myself included, have no idea what we/you are talking about.

Bye!

I think the LSAT is a bunch of Bull...all my time reading the postings, everyone obsesses over the damn thing, only b.c the schools do. So many peeps that do great on it are a bunch of anti-social money- hungry idiots who happen to be great at standard test, and have no real passion for the law.

I think the law schools should trump interviews over lsat scores (in my dreams)

Maybe I'm just bitter...f*** the LSAT!!!
