I have a friend who's a PA at Kirkland, and he said that the job wasn't hard to obtain.  Then again, he graduated summa from Harvard, with a double PhD. in Econ and Physics from MIT.

That's a *&^%-ton of education for not all that much job...

Sounds like a Cornell guy to me.  That cold sure makes people bitter and brittle.

filet o' fish just likes trashing my school for various reasons.  i take it personally and i'm not kidding about that.

I can't tell if that means you're kidding or not (seriously)

This list is basically just a summary from a guy who's bitter that he didn't get into a T14 and pretends that Vandy was really his first choice. Oh look, he even admits it in the last point.

Why would he be bitter? He's a sportswriter. That's a far better job than anything you'd get coming out of a t14 school.

Also, Vandy >>> DNCG.

htfh.

I have no problems with Vandy but this guy basically went out of his way to make a list that systematically eliminated every school higher than Vandy as one he'd want to go to. Tastes like bitterness.

You suck at reading.

Yeah, you're right, I misread the points that specifically singled out schools like Cornell and GULC and called them trash because they don't have frat boys playing frisbee on the lawn.

You're right.

Except you're not. He wanted to go to Virginia and Stanford. He also said that if you could get into Yale, go. Or a place that doesn't do grades traditionally.

Sorry that you go to Columbia and he doesn't like your school, bro.

Sounds like a Cornell guy to me.  That cold sure makes people bitter and brittle.

Sorry we can't all be mathletes.

And I think the part you missed was the excerpt about how his top choices were Virginia and Stanford, and that he got rejected from both.

Who cares? Do what you want.

Ah, good.  If anonymous strangers think I'm making the right choice, then it makes me feel better about it.

My UG was very UVa.  In fact, we're often compared with Michigan and UVa in terms of social scene, so I wanted something different.

Maybe they said that there, but that comparison isn't often drawn around here.

Regardless, I think you'll enjoy chicago, despite the fact that you don't know my real name.
