House is terrible.

Thank you!  Someone else with good sense in this thread.

Yeah Kat, I SAID IT!

I just threw up on my monitor.
You people make me sick.

5 minutes in: weird symptoms
10 minutes in: House mocks his underlings
20 minutes in: try conventional treatment
30 minutes in: symptoms worsen
40 minutes in: House says to try unconventional treatment, with little justification for his decision
41 minutes in: "but it could kill him!"
45 minutes in: House mocks patient's family
50 minutes in: patient gets better
55 minutes in: House walks alone to his car

Isn't that pretty much every episode?

If post-conviction DNA samples hadn't already exonerated so many people, I might find myself on SCOTUS' side on this one.  But it seems to me (in my very limited and flawed 0L understanding of the 14th Amendment) that its been shown to have so much potential for innocence-finding that it has to be a part of due process.

I will try to talk about this tonight with my fellow McDonald's burger-flippers.  Methinks it will be a lonely conversation. :(

My blood pressure is 106/54. This should put to rest any PJCM rumors.

I got my blood pressure done yesterday and I was prehypertension  :-\ :-\ :-\

Getting shafted (tee hee!) on porn misrepresentation will do that.

Grr.  Why is my student loan still "waiting for institution approval" after a week and a half?

A very surly NPE is going to have to get on the phone first thing in the morning. >:(

I just watched the Fox v. Franken documentary.  Hilarious.  Genius.

Which variety are you sampling? I find the regular sweet tea a bit too sweet (crazy, I know), but the diet is just perfect.

Exactly!  The diet is the best sweet tea on the market (sugared or sugar-free!).

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: SLU Or WashU?

Speak to some SLU and Wash U grads if you're lucky enough to have the chance.  The conventional wisdom in STL is that you've got just as good a shot here with a SLU degree as with a WUSTL degree.  I'm not endorsing that myself, but I do think that there's more to look at here than the ranking.

Another reason to look at Northwestern is that they love non-trads.  I don't know if you're wedded to the east coast; if not, definitely look into NU.

DS has inspired me to have some iced tea.

Hot damn Gold Peak is awesome.

I think this is the one I'm going with:

I know it's only got the 32-bit OS, but I'll probably buy Windows 7 in the fall anyway, so it's not a big deal.
