Why do you have to move so early?  Why not aim for August 1st instead?

Cupcake,

I am in a similar boat.  I applied to UO and L&C late, so I won't hear from them for a few weeks, but I anticipate I'll be accepted to both, maybe even with a scholarship. Most of the other schools I've applied to are on the East Coast.

Here's my http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com/display.php?user=drleather LSN link.

I, too, am torn about leaving it all behind and moving to a place that I know I will love.  I wonder how much I'll miss my family.  On the other hand, I really can't get all that excited about living in New Jersey (nor can my fiancee, who grew up here and wants to move on).

It's tough.  PM me if you want to discuss it.

FWIW, they told me the same thing.

If only I had submitted my application like...5 days earlier.  How frustrating.

Question: do you think they'll offer more scholarships to those who haven't withdrawn, or will we have to ask for it?  I already called and inquired, but I wonder if I'd have to call back on April 2nd.  It's not a big deal, but it will (at the very least) cost me some $ in seat deposits.

Got a George Mason reject later.

Oh well.  Too conservative for me anyway.

What if I move with my wife, and she gets a job as a teacher in PA?

(I know this is getting mighty specific, but I thought I'd ask).

Any advice/comments on becoming an in-state student?  Know anyone who's done it?

Got a whopping notification of app. completion from Seton Hall.

Only took 'em 6 weeks.

Is it hard to get PA in-state residence?

Congrats all.

I was accepted with a $12K/yr offer (for maintaining a 3.0).

Might be too hard to turn down, assuming my likely denials deny and other places like Temple don't offer me dough.

You guys visit yet? I did: the neighborhood is  a little rough, but what the heck, right?

congrats!

Temple is a good bet for me if I get in (and if they offer me any $$, it might be too hard to pass up!).

How long ago did you apply?
