could your resume suffice? I mean I've got all my activities on my resume, should I break them out and put them on a separate sheet?

I'm with you Jack...I'm poor so I'm using that 50 bucks for an app fee. Plus most schools have their own online apps anyway.

re the first part of your question...most schools that ask what your score is make allowances for the fact that many people haven't taken the lsat yet. the couple I've come across that ask also ask for the date that you plan to take the lsat if you haven't taken it yet.

does the LSAC form allow you to attach documents in word format? I've been checking out some of the online options offered by schools and everybody wants you to copy and paste your documents into these text boxes which kills the format completely.

I totally just got the same email and am wondering what I should do about it. I think I'm gonna ask if I can apply next year (they'd be a safe school) and still have the fee waiver and possible scholarship opportunities apply to me.

Where'd you hear that applying too early could be a negative? Everything I read cited that applying early was an advantage...I was kinda counting on that little fact to maybe help me out...

I haven't used this before but I'm thinking about using it for later on. Thing is I may be doing some travelling in Sept./Oct. and my internet access is sketchy, does anyone know if you can set up your apps on the website and say stagger them so that they send off the applications on preset days to the respective schools?

Law School Admissions / Re: Just bought a laptop.

I gotta say, if you're buying a Toshiba Laptop buy a bad ass warranty. I worked in IT and can think of very few people who didn't want to toss their Toshibas after 6-9 months. They're cheap as hell...but you get what you pay for.

Forgive the stupid question but...does "Temple University—James E. Beasley School of Law 0.13421425841372667" mean that there is a 1 in 10 chance of getting into Temple? I'm unsure how to interpret these scores...math was never my strong suit.

WOW, I gotta tell you folks you have really encouraged me. I was all set to apply only to tier 2 downward schools. Prior to finding this forum I was just going through comparing my numbers to the numbers provided on sites such as etc. I really didn't know the minority thing had any impact whatsoever. I'm not sure how I feel about it although if it's a positive effect, I'll admit I'm not a big enough person not to ride the wave. I wasn't even looking at Berkley b/c of the numbers and their lack of compatibility w/ mine.
