Studying for the LSAT / Fee Waiver Question

Hi All,

From what I've read it seems that fee waivers are sometimes given based on LSAT scores (through info received through CRS?)? If so, is this for every test or just June, which seems most popular.

I will be applying in the next cycle but I am taking the LSAT for the first time in February. Would I receive waivers after this test for next cycle, or beginning in the summer, or at all?

Is there such a thing? Tried to register for the Feb. test and the test site that I want is listed as unavailable. The other sites may not work for me, but they're not more than 100 miles away (close enough though). There is no option at all to select the unavailable site. Does LSAC not allow waitlisting for a test site?

I plan to apply for the next cycle. I want to take the LSAT for the first time in February. I have done some timed sample tests and read a few law school books that mention LSAT strategies. What materials/methods did you all find helpful?

Hi All,

First time poster, been lurking for awhile.

I intend to apply in the next cycle. I am fairly certain that I want to attend one school in particular, but I still have the "what-ifs" in the back of my mind regarding other schools.

I have heard that it may be easier to get into a school through ED (and have also heard this theory refuted) and I have also heard that applying ED can hurt chances at reasonable financial aid (since you're obligated to attend the school no matter what). What, in your opinion, are the pros and cons of applying ED?
