Just got an e-mail back from NYLaw. He said they do not have a free application irrespective of when you apply.

New York Law's website says it requires a $65 application fee. Is there some way to confirm that it is free before Dec. 31?

Law School Admissions / What's the earliest decision date?
« on: September 15, 2008, 06:19:24 AM »
I have sent in all my apps and waiting to go complete. When is the earliest someone will get notified of a decision? Is it usually by the first of the year? Has anyone seen a school that reviews in December or even November??
Thoughts?

What are your thoughts on tayloring each statement to each program you are applying to? Does it really make that much difference? I have read advice that suggests one should taylor the statement, but I am struggling with doing so. I don't want to sould like I am just interjecting XYZ law school into the statement and I don't want to have to redo the entire statement! Any thoughts?
