I have a question. I live in Atlanta and have applied to Mercer. Are there many people from Atlanta that commute to Macon for school?

Law School Applications / The Shortest Waitlist?« on: December 16, 2008, 03:16:29 PM »
So, what is the shortest time frame you have seen someone go from ''Waitlisted'' to Accepted? I got waitlisted so I wanted to be able to NOT check the status checker everyday..
The admission person said it could be anytime but usually by mid-march to april. Then she said "I'll keep your file in front of the committee as often as I can''. What is that supposed to mean??!! 55
General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Re: Emory class of 2012!« on: December 11, 2008, 04:44:11 PM »
I am waiting to hear from Emory. I just sent them an e-mail asking when they thought I was going to hear. She said I would be notified in 4-6 weeks. I wonder why some were notified early?
Anyway, I am from Atlanta so I can entertain housing, nightlife and whatever other questions you may have. 56
Law School Applications / Re: Rejected? Why??« on: December 09, 2008, 11:50:53 AM »
don't worry Matthies, I don't expect you to. I am worried that my application will go ::thud:: when hitting the table because I have a criminal record and addendum, which is essential all related to the habit I kicked. I am just afraid it seems like a bit much...can't help it though, I have to be honest. The criminal addendum is for a DUI and speeding tickets, while the drug one addresses the difference in LSAT scores (15 point increase after kicking thr habit)
