Law School Applications / Mistake on my applications (3 of them!)« on: December 18, 2007, 07:31:31 PM »
I totally forgot to include my study abroad school where it asks to list the colleges/universities you've attended. It's listed on my resume, but it slipped my mind. It was only one semester that I studied abroad. Will adcomms take this seriously? One of the schools was a safety, the other two are schools I would like to go to.

If I submit my applications before the Dec LSAT score is released, will LSAC send another report with the new score? Do I have to pay again?

I noticed that people who were taking the test the second time left before doing the writing sample...what's the general consensus on this. Should one do the writing sample again? What are the views of the adcomms?

To those who work FT, how do you manage? I'm so exhausted by the time I come home, I can hardly do an hour on weeknights. Most of my studying is being pushed to the weekends. How have you set up your studying schedules?

“We’re almost home. You will be safe with us now,” my mother said as we drove the _____ hour distance from ____ to ______. It was the Spring of ____. My parents rescued me after several months of experiencing abuse and cruel treatment from my ex-husband and his parents. Three years ago, I was engaged to a man whom I did not know so well, but my parents felt would be an ideal match for me. A few weeks following the engagement, I flew to _____ from ____ during college for my wedding ceremony. I was twenty years old and was entering into an arranged marriage, as dictated by my culture and tradition. The marriage was not to be consummated (begin? implement? can't figure out the right word here) for another two years, i.e. after I completed my undergraduate studies, which meant that I did not have to move to ____ just yet.
Let me know if I'm headed in the right direction. 38

What's the average word count? I'm assuming it is shorter than the PS so does that mean 250?

At this point my resume is 1 pg and a quarter. I've tried to condense it as much as I can, deleting what I thought probably didn't have any value to the adcomms. Got it down from 1 and two thirds of a page. I'm just really concerned that no one will bother to look at the second page. What's the norm?
Also..is this format correct? What needs to be changed/added/deleted? Education Awards Experience Full time Part time/Summer Activities Should I separate in college and post-college activities? Languages 40

I was wondering what the latest edition was for the LG and LR Bibles. I can't seem to find anything recent (2003 is the latest I've found). Is there anything more recent?
