My only concern with waiting much longer is that I've got two law schools that I've been accepted to that have deadlines of April 1. At that point, my seat deposit needs to be put down or I lose out. Needless to say I'm trying to figure out the best possible way to hear back from this one last school so that I can make my final decision...

I'm still waiting to hear back from one of my top schools, but know that they often take a while to notify students (Southwestern...and this is based on past numbers on LSN) I wanted to send them a continued interest letter, but am unsure of what exactly I need to say. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions/template?

Southwestern has sent me a couple e-mails this week reminding me to apply for finanacial aid. However, as of yet, my application status check online says they're still reviewing my file.
Do ya'll think these e-mails are an early indication that I'm close to being accepted/a serious contender?? No other law schools have sent me these kinds of e-mails...only Southwestern.

Powerscore books are always pretty helpful, and last I checked you could still download the June '07 LAST from the LSAC website.

Tough luck for the Patriots...turned out to be a pretty good game though. I was just hoping it wouldn't be a blowout, and thank goodness it wasn't.
Solid job by the Giants front four though. Now THAT was some serious pressure they put on Brady all nite!

Your friend *should* be able to get it down to 2 pg, double spaced. I started out with around 3 full pages but have been able to scale it back to 2 pages to make it more coherent and to the point. I think my PS is much stronger now than when it was several pages, but to each his own.

Arizona State, Southwestern, or South Texas. And then I can start breathing a little easier...

I agree...it's unlikely there'll be a mapping game. But for me, I always found those to be the easiest.

So let's say that some schools that I'm applying to don't offer me any scholarships (or make it too low to realistically make it possible to attend) Does anyone know of any sites or links that have reputable scholarship apps available, regardless of where I attend??
Thanks for the help ya'll.

Keep your chin up buddy. South Texas or St. Mary's would be a good fit for ya...as far as Tech, Pepperdine and UNLV, those might be a bit of a reach. I agree with the previous comment that FSU would be a tough one (but I'm not too familiar with their program, so don't take my word on it)
However, stranger things have happened. Good luck.
