Ah, you mean Top Law Schools... no I've only viewed that board very occasionally when I was googling some random law-related subject and it popped up.

Wow.  A thread on this pretentious board that doesn't make me want to google "bankruptcy student debt suicide".  Way to contribute something realistic yet positive to the world OP, thanks.

LOL, you've never been to TLS have you? But thanks!  ;)

I'm almost scared to ask but... TLS?

Yeah, I believe USD is Roman Catholic, but my impression is that religious affiliation means pretty much zilch when it comes to 99% of law schools.

Does this mean I have another classmate who will not be working? Darn...

Awe, well I'm trying to switch to day, so hopefully I won't be any competition for you.   :)

Sno, I've asked them already, but I'm just planning for the worst since it's so last minute.  We'll see...

Hey everyone.  I was accepted to the PT program, but I'd really like to graduate in three years, and even switch to the day program if possible.  Do you guys know anything about that?  I originally thought I would work full time during school, but my plan now is to do whatever it takes to graduate in three years, including quitting my job.  Is it difficult to switch after the first year?  Can you take an almost full time load in the evening program?

So it looks like I may have found a good room situation in Serra Mesa.  Any input from the locals on that area?  It seems pretty close to me, I'm going to go check it out this weekend.

The proximity to the border is a concern for some, but as long as you don't have a car that is on the top ten theft list, you should be relatively safe.

Hmmm, well I'm almost certain my car is on the top ten theft list, if not number one or two.  It would be a pain having it stolen, but it's a piece of crap car anyway so I guess it's a trade off.  :-\

Okay, they sent me a roommate listing and recommended signonsandiego.com, so I'll start my search.  If any girls are looking though, PM me.   :)

Hey all!

After about a year of obsessively trolling this site without registering, I've made the final decision to attend USD Fall '07 and I couldn't be more excited!   :)

This has probably been discussed (and I'm going to hunt around some more), but any apartment search tips would be wonderful.  I'm from the LA area originally so I don't know much about the different parts of SD.  Any specific area that a lot of the law students live?  Where's a good place to get started looking for places and fellow law roommies?  That's my biggest priority at this late date...

Congrats on the wise decision joining us. You will not be disappointed.

Mission Valley seems to be the hot spot for a good deal of USD folks. I would start there. It is convenient, and there are pretty decently priced placs.

Thanks, I'll look into Mission Valley.  Does the school have any resources as far as roommate/apartment listings?  Craigslist seems a little overwhelming, especially not really knowing the area.  Any girls on here looking for roommies?
