yea,

What were the numbers

not particularly spectacular... 167/3.83 from a top school. Several years work experience, great recs, and some other softs were most probably factors.

Law School Applications / Re: NeedAccess Fees

Outside the 15 dollar report fees, is there any general fee for using NeedAccess.org? I remember getting ripped off by the CSSProfile for undergrad, and am hoping not to repeat that experience.

so are you asked for payment after needaccess has finished processing your app??

I submitted mine last week and was not asked for any form of payment

... So just when I am coming to grips with the fact that I will need to take out massive amounts of loans to pay for school, appearing in my mailbox is a dangling carrot (cleverly disguised as a letter) of $35K per year....

Someone want to remind me of the difference in employment opportunities between NU and BC?  ;D

Financial Aid / Re: Wtf FAFSA?
« on: January 21, 2008, 10:12:54 PM »
Mine spit out a whopping $69k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF??!! Does the FAFSA not realize that we SPEND our wages from 2007 on things like, oh, rent, and food, and transportation? And that cost of living in my state is some of the highest in the country?

Does this mean I will be eligible for anything at all? My spouse will likely not even have a job next year when we move for school... yargh.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: George Mason vs. Hastings
« on: January 13, 2008, 04:37:38 PM »
I've no idea about either of those schools. all I know is that they're pretty close in the rankings and starting private sector salaries. George Mason's focus is on economics, I hate math and cold weather. I'd love to practice in California and eventually live in SoCal, but know nothing about Hastings and their employment prospects. Please share your info.

If you want to practice in SoCal, I would look at SoCal schools over even Hastings.

Yes! I've been complete since mid-October. Mid-October!! I fit comfortably into the 50%-75% bracket, but I'm starting to brace for a rejection.

I am in the same boat.
