Are you going to wait and see what you get from OSU and possibly negotiate with Pitt?
Yeah, I am. I know I probably won't go there in the end, but Pitt is like Gold in my home city, and it seems outside of the t14, Pitt might be the best. I doubt it will work. I mean, the only way Pitt could be in the running is if they give a full ride, and I doubt it will happen. It didn't happen to anyone last year. And there is a decent shot at close to that from OSU.

In at Wash & Lee, also got money at Tulane (60K) and Pitt (36K). At this rate, my cycle will be over in about a week. The Pitt money throws them out of the mix, though, because in state tuition at Pitt is 23K/year, (in state tuition in PA is one of the highest in the country), and with the scholarship I would still pay about 33K overall. At Ohio state, I can pay 50K overall without a scholarship (which i'm hoping to get, btw) and have the same placement in my region of Pennsylvania, for the most part, as well as a much better regional reach. I really like Pitt, so it kinda sucks.

Yeah, TC, I'm gonna write an LOCI. When should I do it? I have no idea. I'm not really bummed about the waitlist, its about what I expected. I have 6 schools from UCLA up, and my beginning prediction was 2 rejections and 4 waitlists, with one of those WL turning into an acceptance. We'll see how close I am.

Waitlisted at UVA. Seems more like a rejection than an acceptance, so posted it in here.

Thanks to everyone, I'm stoked about it. Although the acceptance was likely, and the bigger, more exciting day will be finding out the scholarship offer.
Oh, and "Santa", I read the Pelican Brief as I was applying to prepare me for teh Tulane experience.
Did your status checker ever change from "File is eligible for review" or did it remain there?
TC, I can't speak for Bloom but mine changed from File is undergoing review to "congratulations! You're admitted" today.
Yeah, mine was the same.

Thanks for all the congrats. I'll definitely becoming down for one of the accepted weekends. Hurricanes excluded, I think New Orleans might be the coolest place in teh country to spend three years.

Accepted to Tulane today! I'm stoked. Scholarship numbers in the mail. Do you guys have any idea the different monetary schollies they offer?
