Pepperdine today, waiting back on Berkeley and UCLA, fingers crossed. But, I'm psyched at the prospect of being in Malibu (I'm in NYC right now, it is very, very cold).

I'm from by you, and I'm killing time out here right by Malibu, and A++ on that point. Today was the coldest it's been all january, and it was like 55.

Looking at this, Cooley bumped themselves up 4 spots(i think). They obviously don't want to ever come across as weakening in their own rankings, so do you think they will keep rising until they are number one?

For the record, if *observationalist* is classified as a troll (which I don't think he is), then he is the best damn troll I've ever seen.

For those accepted to Canadian schools, should they post here, or in the "Oh Canada" thread?

As the creator of this thread, I feel I have the final say. I was never a fan of separate but equal. All of us should be thrown into the same thread, regardless of how much better Americans are than Canadians.

BRET AND JEMAINE ARE NOT AMUSED

Bret looks amused

You know what's wierd? Flight of the Conchords isn't very big in New Zealand- not like over here, at least. A lot of kids our age had no idea who they were, which I found funny. Also, Bret was in a bigtime band over there for a while that I got to see live, they were awesome, called the black seeds. It's funny cause they play their music videos alot still, and you always see Brett like hanging out to some funky music.

One other thing. Bret is in arguably the most famous movie scene of the 00s. Any guess on what it is?

Touche. I didn't know how to handle this. Red head joke? Albino joke? Delaware Joke? Philly Joke? They've all been used. But I'll think of something.

I'm a OL, so I don't know much, but I think you should visit before writing the letter. It makes it more personal, and shows them you are actually interested (where writing a letter about how you are still interested is pretty generic and I'm sure they know that you are probably sending a form waitlist letter to a couple schools)

Regarding the business, I say why not mention it? Talk about it's successes, and how you play an integral role, including the risk taking, the organization, and the drive to make a business succeed. Even if you are worried about your relatively behind the scenes position in the business, they aren't going to quiz you about anything. go for it.

Waitlisted at Vandy today. I'm happy just to not have been rejected.

Sorry about the two waitlists bloom.

Thanks. You have any specific plans for getting off it? A visit, maybe?

Sorry Bloomie  :-\

Eh. No worries. I figure, being on five waitlists (I'm assuming one from NW and Michigan), I'll have a decent shot at getting off one of them, you know?
