General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / used or new supplements

I am going to be a 1L in about a week. I am buying supplements right now. Obviously, previous edition used supplements are alot cheaper. Am I ok going with these, or should I get the latest/new ones?

Financial Aid / UG student loan advice

I will be going to law school on a full scholarship. I have about 44 thousand in existing loans, split between federal loans and private loans. The private loans are split between 3 different lenders, and total around 25 thousand. I gruduated in January so they are coming due soon.

What are my options for managing these? Would it be wise to consolidate the private loans and then forbear until law school starts?

If I forbear, what is the process i have to go through?

Where should I go next fall? / University of Cincinnati or Cleveland Marshall (Full Ride)

I am trying to choose between UC and Cleveland Marshall. My stats 3.66/159 got me a full ride to Cleveland Marshall and $13,000 total for Cincinnati.

Cincinnati has the Urban Morgan Human Rights Program and some journals I really like, but it will cost me around 40-45 thousand to go there, my scholarship included. It is also ranked higher than CSU.

CSU places really well in Cleveland but overall is ranked lower and has no national reputation, but is a full ride.

What should I do?

Studying for the LSAT / Need some retake advice ASAP

So on the June LSAT I received a 159. I took a princeton review class prior to the exam and practice tested 156 159 159 162. I signed up to retake in September, but I haven't really studied since June. It;s not to late to ask lSAC for a refund. Is it even worth it going in? I have a 3.62 GPA and a strong personal statement.

Where should I go next fall? / Case Western or Cleveland Marshall with $$$

Hello,

I am going to apply to both Case Western and Cleveland Marshall. Judging from what people on lawschoolnumbers.com are reporting, with my scores (3.6 GPA and 159 LSAT) I can either count on a nearly full ride at CM or nearly full price at CASE (around 35 per year).

What would you guys do?

General Off-Topic Board / getting an internship during Senior year

Hello,

I am currently a Senior at a 4 year liberal arts university, with intent to go to law school following my graduation. I want to get an internship in legal somewhere during the next semester, but am not sure how I can go about doing that.

My school's Career Board website doesn't having anything that would fit the bill.

Any advice?
