Distance Education Law Schools / Re: taft law school

Taft is not accredited - avoid it like the plague.  In fact, the ABA does not accredit any distance learning programs...

Certainly, it may have some positive effects, but I worry about what it would later do to government abilities.  If the government can compel people to civil service at a certain age, what is to stop them from abusing this authority, increasing it, making it more subjective...there are a myriad of ways by which the system could be abused, none of which are outweighed by the benefits of this system.  The government already exercises far too much power over our personal lives - let's not make things any worse.

I would argue that it's probably best to wait until the class starts to start outlining.  After that, have at it.

Are you honestly dissing Harvard's Internet Forum Law program, specializing in claims of defamation, trolling and unnecessary LOLing?

I'd like kids, but not yet...Probably mid-30s would be good.

But wait!  What if you got THREE JDs, each from a university with a different specialization?  Or how about getting SIX JDs and becoming SUPERLAWYER, the all-American superhero that is able to leap a logical gap in a single bound, is faster than a speeding nolo contendre plea and more powerful than a motion for habeas corpus? Eggshell skulls are no match for SUPERLAWYER!

I'm not so sure that Penn State's branding is as strong as you suggest it is, really....If its branding were stronger, wouldn't it place higher in the rankings, which are largely based on surveys of lawyers and judges?
