Especially the Lawyers Club.  The school really seems to talk this sucker up; is it worth living in and eating there with no kitchen facilities or is off-campus housing so wonderfully plentiful and cheap that one shouldn't bother?

A bit on conditional logic:
If we have an affirmation A--> B
then the inverse is what you call the incorrect negation !A --> !B
converse is what you call the incorrect reversal B --> A.

Yes, these two are contrapositives of one another; no, they are not inverses of one another.

The answer to the rest of your question is essentially yes, with one caveat: if you're diagramming parallel flaw questions, you need to know which is which.

OK, dude:

The 5/4 'march' section from your namesake or the 9/8 bridge from In My Time Of Dying... and why?

For those of you that just got your scores (congratulations and/or condolences), what did you think of the comparative RC section?  How did you do compared to the other 3 traditional passages?  Harder?  Easier?  Were you adequately prepared?

Studying for the LSAT / PSA: LSAT SCORES
« on: June 29, 2007, 01:22:37 PM »
PSA 1: LSAC is not engaged in a grand conspiracy to shift the scale and ruin your score.  There are no elders at LSAC whose protocols you need to watch for.  The black helicopters will not overrun your Northern Idaho stronghold in an effort to keep you out of Yale.  The scale is always normalized to the scores of the takers over the last three years.

Translation: you're only as good as how much better you are than everybody else.

PSA 2: You will get your score when it magically shows up in your inbox.  If you can't stand the wait, start drinking.

If that one also sorta looks like you, I'll be confused.

PS - thanks for the inspiration for the handle.

PPS - I meant to ask; what does the Latin mean?
