Studying for the LSAT / Re: June LSAT Epilogue
« on: June 16, 2008, 06:09:23 PM »
Final Thoughts:  I annihilated the games section.  I killed it, then dug its body up and stabbed it through its heart with a silver dagger...  RC was pretty straightforward, the rest is up for grabs.  :D  Overall pretty confident of a 160+, will likely take again in October though--effin logic.

My vote for tutor, you don't need help in all sections it appears, only games so a tutor could provide the most bang for your buck.

Or just speed drill games, the more you see and do the less freaked out you get when you see them on the test.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Blackstone in Florida

TestMasters has a class in Tampa that starts tonight.

Uh, that frustrates me so much, because I could have sworn that wasn't there when I looked.

Well I am in Tallahassee right now, so I will have to see if I can still sign up.

I was wondering if anyone has anything, good or bad, about Blackstone LSAT Prep in Florida, specifically Tampa?  Powerscore just canceled their course in Tampa, and I find myself reluctant to sign up for Kaplan. Testmasters nor Blueprint have classes in Tampa.

TYFYT!

I never took any LSAT prep courses, I only did self-study. That being said, all of my friends that I know who applied to law school these past two years did Blackstone prep... I'd say around 10 people, and they all raved about it.

Apparently it's a more personal experience than at Kaplan, and the woman who runs it teaches it (her name is Mimi).

I almost took the class but that kind of environment just doesn't work well for me. But if I did go to one that's where I would have went.

I guess bottom line... that's the only LSAT prep place here in Tampa that I know of that I haven't heard mixed things about.

Fabulous! Thank you!  One of my co-workers raved about it, but the website looked a little ... homemade if you will, so I was a little suspicious.  I've been doing some independent studying, but having a structured class schedule will really help me keep on task, I get distracted easily sometimes.

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about Blackstone LSAT Prep in Florida?

Powerscore just cancelled their June LSAT course in Tampa, and I find myself reluctant to sign up for Kaplan.  Neither Blueprint nor Testmaster have classes in Tampa as well.

I have been studying on my own, but I think a structured class schedule would really keep me on task.  So if anyone knows of any classes going on in Tampa, please let me know.

I was curious if anyone has heard about Blackstone LSAT prep in Florida?  A co-worker referred me to them, saying that it was a good course to take.

Powerscore just cancelled their classes for the June LSAT in Tampa, and I find myself reluctant to sign up for Kaplan, and Testmasters does not offer courses in Tampa.

So, does anyone know anything about Blackstone ... or any other Prep Courses running in Tampa?

I have been studying on my own to a degree, but a structured class schedule would really help me keep on task.

TYFYT

I'm not going to post a screen shot because I'm at work and dont want to go through the hassle. Just take my word for it. I took the test in la.

sorry bb, but pics or it didn't happen.
Hey man, I offered a screen shot if someone would tell me how. If you aren't going to take me up on it, don't call me a liar. Or do. I went up 4 points and I don't really care right now. ha.

I never commented about you,  to take a screen shot hit the "print screen" key, save it in mspaint, upload it to tinypic.com and post the url here.  takes less than a minute.
