For anyone who hasn't experienced this yet...

It sucks so hard to lose your cell phone!!!

Especially when it falls out of your pocket, falls to the ground, and you unwittingly kick it onto the train tracks of an elevated train where it falls between the tracks and to the ground 40 feet below to its death.

Not only that, but it was a brand new phone (2 weeks old maybe?), incredibly pimped out, and FREE because you had extended your contract, but now you have to pay retail price to replace it since it wasn't insured, sticking you with a $250 bill, or a reduced bill (by 25%) so long as you extend your current contract by a year.  WTF!

Moral of the story, DON'T LOSE YOUR PHONE!

Ok, end rant.
I lost my phone a couple of weeks ago.  I couldn't get a cheap replacement because my 2yr slave contract is expired so I actually have to pay full price If I stick with the service.  On top of that some Jack Hole picked it up and charged about $150 on call to the Ivory Coast, Ghana, and France.

I'm changing services but I'm w/out a Cell Phone until my private loans fund.  I don't want the CF people messing with my credit and screwing with my interest rates, or worse causing me to need a co-signer.

The strange thing.  I speak fluent french, and know people in the Republic of Guinea, and France but I NEVER call any of them on my cell phone, or non-business phone lines.  Usually I use e-mail for internatinal communications.

Law School Applications / Re: University of Akron? Help!!!

i got in there with a scholarship as well.  It was my 3rd choice.  I'm from PA, and my first choice is my alma mater, and in my home town.  I'm not sure what "no frills, do or die law" means.  Law has frills?  I got a good impression from thier admissions people.  They seemed very organized, and treated me like I was the only applicant.  Congrats, and good luck.

We've gotta to go to class, sign in, AND pay attention :(!?!? What have I gotten myself into :-\...

Really though I've calculated that each hour of class costs me $69 and change.  I admit I'll probably drift off too and do something else. If the Profs create policies that cause me to get my $$ worth;  I'll appreciate it.  That's why they get paid so much they need to make sure I learn something.
