I'm planning on visiting NY the weekend of the 23rd and my Fordham app is STILL at complete after, oh, 12 weeks... Do you think there's anything I could call the admissions office to ask about that might give me an indication of whether I'll have a decision by then? I guess I can go check it out either way, but still.

Thanks for all the input. I have visited Cornell before since I considered going for undergrad and have friends at undergrad there... so in retrospect I shouldn't have even applied to the law school knowing how I feel about the location. But I'll definitely visit some of my other acceptances soon to get a better feel on things.
Ok, I'm sure there are already threads on this, but how big of a factor is location for most of you? I just got into Cornell today which is by far the best school I've been accepted to so far. However, knowing myself I'm pretty sure I can't handle not being in a city - and so far I'm in at Brooklyn and Cardozo (w/ a full ride). So would it be crazy for me to choose one of those over a much more prestigious school? (If Fordham would actually get back to me on my application in the next century that would help matters too...)

Ok, this might be a stupid question, but why do people fudge their numbers on LSN? What's the point?
