Law School Applications / Re: What's going on with BU?

I applied in November and never got a complete notice. I'm 100% sure everything is in. But whatever.

I got a complete e-mail a month ago and applied 1st week in January.  Maybe you should call them?

At this point I'm not really all that concerned anymore. I'm just frustrated about losing whatever money I spent on their application fee and report cost.

Are you pretty decided then?  I remember you being psyched about BC but it looks like you are going to ride out the UT waitlist.

Yea, I've definitely been riding a roller coaster this admissions cycle. I was convinced I was going to BC until I did some soul searching and realized that probably wasn't the right choice for me. It looks like I'll probably be going to UHouston unless Texas lets me in off the waitlist.

How about you?

That does suck. I didn't realize that.
I've gotten merit aid notices, but I guess I'll have to wait for need-based information.

Yea, I got a letter in the mail.
It just outlines what you're getting and what you have to do to keep it.
That's all.

I'm anxiously awaiting the finaid notice that they said should come in a day or two...

Where did you hear/see that?
The Asst. Dean of Admissions, Jamie Hammers, sent me an email on Friday saying I was selected for the Dean's Scholarship. She said: "In the next few days you will receive a formal scholarship award letter that will provide additional information".

My letter just said that the scholarship would be renewable for 3 years, as long as I maintained a 2.9 (which is top 70% for this year's 1L class).
