Can someone please post the October 2003 scale?  I can't find it anywhere online.  Thanks.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: My Only Piece of Advice to LSAT Test-Takers
« on: November 16, 2007, 12:08:18 AM »
Thanks for that 'cos right now, I'm scared outta my mind about this test.  I'm retaking and can't think of anything much worse than getting a lower score the second time around.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: 3 June 07 LR I need help with
« on: November 15, 2007, 05:24:29 PM »
For the first one, B seems like a better choice because if the cattle can be raised on pastureland that is unsuitable for any other kind of farming, then the cattle can pretty much eat all they want without huting humans and since humans aren't being denied grains, grazing them on this land can't really be immoral.
That was my reasoning on this one, hope it makes sense.

The second one is a bit more difficult for me to explain but I'll try.  It looks like his whole point is that people should exercise the muscles on both sides of the spine to maintain a healthy back.  Then he goes on to say that balanced muscle development is needed for a healthy back.  It seems to me that by recommending that people should exercise both sides, he must be assuming that this results in that balanced muscle development that is needed for a healthy back.  In this context, B makes more sense to me.  Furthermore, if you were to negate the answer choice, it would read "exercising the muscles on opposite sides of the spine unequally does not lead to unbalanced muscle development" which would undermine his point.
Hope that helped.

For the last one. I would've picked B but it's hard for me to explain why. I'm not even sure I'd be right.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: A very unique LSAT problem. Advice needed.

I have that same problem.  My LR is very inconsistent, I usually do alright in one section and completely screw up the second one.  In the sept test, I got 1 wrong in one of the sections and 5 wrong in the other.  Can't quite figure out how to fix this.  I'm also retaking in December.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: September LSAT Bacteria Question
« on: October 26, 2007, 10:11:23 PM »
Do you mean the one with bacteria and apple juice?  If so, the key to answering that is recognizing that there are two different methods of pasteurization being discussed, flash pasteurization, which the company uses, and intensive pasteurization, the most effective one.  It then follows that E is correct because since intensive pasteurization is more effective than any other, it must be more effective than flash pasteurization.  This was the only one I missed in that section too because I failed to notice that they were talking about two methods of pasteurization.  I would post the whole thing here but I'm not sure that's legal and I don't want to get into any kind of trouble.

Anyway, I hope that was the question you were asking about 'cause if not, I just typed all this for nothing.  Congratulations on the great score by the way.

Like someone else has already mentioned, you should invest in the Logic Games Bible by Powerscore.  I found it really helpful.  Has anyone here ever used Powerscore's  Logic Games Ultimate Setups Guide?  I want to buy it but would first like to make sure it's actually useful and worth the money.

Just started studying for September.  Wish I could help Chris but I only just got the LRB today so haven't gotten far enough.
