Studying for the LSAT / Practice Test Plateau
« on: May 25, 2007, 06:40:12 PM »
Hi all, first time posting on this website.

So my query is this:

After initially improving dramatically over the course of a few weeks(from a 161 to a 168) on my practice tests, I've been hitting a plateau in my practice test scores. In my last three prep tests, I've received nearly the same exact score - a 167 to a 168. My goal is a 170, and though a 168 is a score I would be pleased, I'm assuming that due to test day anxiety my score will be lower on the day of the test - which is why I'd rather have a bit of a cushion going in. Its extremely frustrating because if I perform well on my worst section (logic games) I invariably perfom worse on another section, or vice-versa. Games are pretty much hit or miss for me depending on whether I see the key inference or not; on some tests I get the questions nearly all correct, on others I range from 16-18 correct.

Any advice? Has anyone experienced this? Is there any hope of improving in the next few weeks?
