I'm almost positive that your GPA from all colleges you attented are used in your LSDAS GPA

Thanks for the responses folks. That's basically what I've been doing lately...constantly going at em. I'm hoping one day it'll all just click for me  :D

Quick question for those studying for/already taken the LSAT...how the hell did you guys figure out logic games? I got the LG Bible and I'm slowly getting the concepts, but compared to LR and CR I feel like I'm lightyears behind. Am I the only one?  ???

Hey everyone.

I've been lurking around here for some time, feeding off the advice. I'm a senior now, set to graduate in Spring 09. I'm taking the December LSAT and I'm wondering when is the earliest realistic time frame I should be able to get my apps out. I know having them in early makes a huge difference, so I'm wondering if it's uncommon to start apps before LSAT scores are received. Any help/advice in this regard is appreciated. Thanks!

So I just got back from the federal prison here in NYC over in Brooklyn.  I had to meet with a client there.

While I'm waiting, I'm in the general population visiting room for about 20 minutes, just watching folks come in and meet with their husbands/boyfriends/brothers/etc.  There were probably about 50, 60 people in this big room.

One thing that struck me...these were some of the FINEST women I have ever seen all gathered up in the same place - Federal Prison.  Waiting on their man.  I mean, these were beautiful sisters.   The kind that could have had their pick of any cat.  So then it made me wonder....WHAT are they all doing with these thug thizzles?!?!?

Makes me sad. :'(

bad boy + swagger + pipe game

I'm gonna have to go with MJ on this one. Besides stats, MJ's intangibles are what make him the best to play the game...dude was just so clutch. And I hear you on Pistol Pete...I feel he's the best to ever play at the college level. Didn't he average like 40-something a game? Crazy.

Quick question for those who might know...how bad is a withdrawal on a law school application? It would be my only one but I'm still a little concerned. It's basically let this class body slam my GPA, or take the W and end the semester with an A-ish average. Any thoughts?

I'd say I'm pretty in touch with my feminine side for a straight guy, but the man crush thing is taking it a little far in my opinion. To me a crush has always implied some sort of romantic attraction. I idolize Michael Jordan, but a handshake would more than suffice.

but "theGay"?  :D straight comedy in here

Do stub year associates get bonuses?  Regardless, if they do, they should be prorated.  And it's not like the administrative staff is getting minimum wage...so they already have an incentive to do well.

Well most people would say that 160 G's base salary should give an associate enough incentive to bill however many hours they're required, but nevertheless....

All I'm saying is good service comes at a premium these days. Maybe it shouldn't be the case, but it's the norm. I do feel you on the 15 percent thing thing though. If the tip is a percentage of the bill, and prices increase, then the tip percentage shouldn't need to be adjusted. Oh well....

Ha.  So do you tip your waiter when you're first seated in order to invest in a good meal?

I don't think you can compare a waiter, who's gonna give you service for a few hours at best, to a secretary who plays a major part in your career. If I was in a similar position, I wouldn't hesitate to pay my secretary 200 dollars for an anticipated year of good service.
