Law School Applications / Undergrad Business Majors Disadvantaged?
« on: May 19, 2007, 04:21:44 PM »
A lot of publications out there seemed to lump business majors with "vocational" majors, who are looked down upon by admission officers. I have talked to dean of admissions from Harvard, Chicago, Michigan, and Virginia, who all expressed that that is not true. I do know that Michigan Law School likes to see Michigan undergrad business majors, but as for other top schools, how much truth is there to this generalization? Personally, I go to one of the most competitive business programs (or any program in general), and I think it's unfair that we are given disadvantage.
