I think one huge question you have to ask yourself when making this decision is geography.  Do you want to work in Ohio?  Or near the location of the T2/T3?

Bar Exam / Re: Taking Two Bar Exams

Well, if you're from here, that's a bit different.  I could definitely see how Louisiana/Texas might be a useful combo for someone who wants to work with the oil industry.  And I agree that taking two bar exams relatively early would probably be easier than taking the second several years in the future.

Are you going to law school in Louisiana, I hope?  Because (speaking from personal experience) the LA bar exam is especially brutal if you go to school out of state.

Louisiana's civil thang is interesting, but quite frankly, it's a brutal exam...  And it's completely different from any other state's exam.  It's the longest in the country, not given on consecutive days (it's a M-W-F), doesn't have an MBE portion, and it's possible to conditionally fail (actually, that is a nice feature of the LA exam).

I guess the question is why you'd want to take Louisiana and another state, and why you think it would be useful.  If it's not going to be useful, it's probably not worth it.
