I already decided that I'm wearing khakis and button down oxfords.  It keeps the wardobe simple, and it's business casual.  I'll keep some multi colored T's for super casual. Brown shoes, black shoes, and any dress socks. Black khaki pants, and a couple of ties for emergencies. I'll only wear shorts for bbq's and pool parties.

I've alway dressed and behaved conservative and I'm not changing.  That's who I am.

No there aren't.  You shouldn't even bother.

I don't believe the competition is that stiff.  There are plenty of potential lawyers that fear the debt enough to never enter the market.  There are the ones who don't believe enough in themselves to put up any seroius competition; The "realists" who quit when their grades are looking bad and think thier dreams are shot. Then there are the near sighted who believe somehow thier incomes will never increase over time and they will be broken by debt, and high opportunity costs.  These are the ones who never make it out of the gate. Alot of them post here on LSD.

 ;D ;D ;D

I know I'm a little late in a response, but I just had to respond and say that Dollar Dollar Bill Ya'll's posts are so stupid. So stupid.
Why don't you just continue to let your boyfriend do the thinking for you.

I don't care how liberated this world becomes - a man will always be judged by the amount of alcohol he can consume - and a woman will be impressed, whether she likes it or not.

Right, maybe when they're 21. I'm 30 now and can tell you I ceased being impressed quite a long time ago. Now it's just a huge, huge turnoff. I'd much rather be around a guy who stops drinking while he's ahead.

I hope I don't turn boring at 30... :(

Don't worry - it's more of a gradual decay than an overnight deterioration.   ::)

wait until the day you turn 30.  gradual my ass  :D

I'm already there.  Bought the t-shirt.

Are you taking anything for the arthritis?
Grain! :o

Everyone seems to forget the minimum payment option, and the consolidation and refinance options.  Even if yous start with a low salary; $150K in student loans is still cheaper than $150k in a mortgage note.  Your return on investment is greater than buying a house, and your risk of total loss is less. Student loans ar nothing to worry about.  I sell $250,000 houses to people with 50k salaries and they still take vacations, still eat well, buy thier prferred cars, and don't live from paycheck to paycheck.

You all just fear $150K because you're not used to thinking in 6 figure debt.  With proper management, and planning ther is nothing to worry about even if you only make $30k after L.S..

Sounds like: as we pull out our troops we'll establish a proxy war there much like we have done elsewhere, and will do again.  This will be a proxy war agaings Iran since it's becoming evident they are financing, and supplying Al-queda, and the new Taliban.
