Law School Applications / How your major effects admissions...
« on: July 05, 2004, 10:46:44 AM »
Ive noticed that a lot of people that apply to law school are usually either philosophy, political science, history, or sociology majors. I am a finance major with a double minor in law and communications... will this have a significant impact when i apply to law school?? do admission officers prefer to see a certain type of major that they feel will better gear them to the rigors of the law profession?? and finally in terms of GPA will they look at someone who does, maybe a physics or math major and give them more leniency with a lower gpa then say a liberal arts major??
