anyone know if a w/l or defer = "decision" on the online status checker?  or should i expect either an admit or reject?

For those who are still at "complete", what were your numbers?

Gauging by some of the posts on here and transferapps, I think they sent out both acceptances and rejections.

still complete....3.8...top 8%....school in the 60's...poor UGPA and LSAT...i'm thinking i'm getting deferred to the regular app pool, but who knows.

Decision here as well.  3.95 T2 school.

ahh still complete here...likely because, compared to those on this board, I am on the low end numbers wise...if GULC pushes your app into the normal transfer application pool do they let you know?  Obviously it is not a decision, but I would hope they at least give you a heads up that the decision won't come until june/july.  Any thoughts?

someone on transferapps says his classmate received an email from GULC indicating that his status had changed and that he was accepted...poster says the accepted student is at a T2 w/ a 4.0....does anyone know if this is how GULC accepts students?  I was under the impression that they never issued acceptances via email...

I think the first batch of decisions (acceptances) will go out by the end of this week.  At least I hope they do because I'm really tired of reloading the status checker.  I remember reading something on transferapps that the status really doesn't update until midnight each day, regardless of what it says, but I'm not sure if I'm just making that up.  Does that sound familiar to anyone else?

I remember reading something like this either on LSD or transferapps, I cannot remember if it was a 1L admit or a transfer, but they said the status checker actually changed at midnight on Sunday....who knows...

is anyone else thinking about hofstra for the fall?

you are more likely to get a response on the pre-law board.

Remember - the longer the jury stays out... oops, no, there is no correlation to eventual result.   :D  I'm going to drink more and reload that page less.

I am not sure about the correlation to the end result, but it does appear (based on transferapps and last yrs LSD thread) that the first group to go decision are admits...with defers and rejects coming later in the month of April...

Have any transfer applicants gone decision?  trasferapps database shows many '07 admits around April 1.

(a) What makes you think you'll get the internship?
(b) The judge certainly won't make you an offer on the spot and you probably won't even interview with the actual judge, probably the judges clerk.
(c) Never pass up an interview until you get an offer, then you can worry about the other stuff.
(

I am not sure I will get the internship...but, i know two 2Ls who encountered this situation when interviewing for 1L summer internships, one was offered the judicial internship at the conclusion of the interview and the other the judge personally called 2 hours after the interview....my point is that I do not want to go into an interview with a judge unless I am willing to accept the position in the even she does make the offer(I can't imagine telling a state supreme court justice "thanks for the offer, I'll consider it, weigh my options, and get back to you")....I guess the question I am asking is if it is better to take a judicial clerkship at the NJ supreme court (IF it was offered) or better to postpone the interview in the hopes of securing a paying SA interview...
