Studying for the LSAT / Re: Blissfully in Denial

i'm fairly confident about my score. i did't bomb my two strong sections (RC and LG), and feel alright about the LR sections. the only time i get nervous is when i check the 'Studying for the LSAT' board.  :)

Studying for the LSAT / Re: LG. Was it really that easy?

The reason I personally found them (very) easy was the fact that 2 games had deductions that, if made, made a lot of the questions very easy to answer. One of the games, post-setup, took me no more than 2-3 minutes after I made that deduction, because so much of the board became solved due to it.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: A little levity... Soulja Boy's "Report Card"
« on: December 04, 2007, 01:10:02 AM »
Soulja Boy is the most misunderstood rapper on the airwaves right now. I don't think people understand his modernist understanding and use of the medium. Clement Greenberg recognized flatness as a key characteristic of modernist painting in that flatness constitutes a recognition of the limits of the medium of painting. Likewise, Soulja Boy's lyrics and minimalist beats are decidedly modernist in that they push the limits of hip-hop clichés.

Soulja Boy is the final destination of what we know as rap--expect post-modern rap sometime within the next ten years or so.
