thanks legalwriter, GDub, & beeker.. I'm definitely looking at nyc particularly cardozo, and UNC sounds like a good place to look into as well. I'm a Florida resident, but i dont really care too much for UF, and so many people come out of there looking for jobs in florida so UF to me doesnt give that great of an impression- but probably just a personal bias there. definitley looking at tier 1 & maybe a few in the 2nd.

yes the link was helpful.. let me clarify though.. i believe what i want fits in the entertainment category...free speech, news media, etc.. right? I guess it kind of is mixed with entertainment/media/constitutional law areas..

definitely nyu and columbia for sure.. but I was thinking of places not in the top 20.. first & 2nd tier schools

CHAOS25... the fixed tuition rate would definitely be a help in the long term over the 3 years..and its also great that u can get the MPA and the JD in 3 years..not even the normal 4 for joint degrees! I think if I decide that I do not want to go to a school in nyc I think syracuse is sounding like a solid option.

the vault quotes are helpful, although yeah they are just peoples' opinions its still something.. from those comments it sounds like its a decent option if u want to stay in the northeast (which I do) after law school.. so syracuse isnt sounding too bad!
